Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography under physician supervision in Hartford, CT. The role requires completing radiographic examinations with attention to patient age and status, ensuring image quality and patient safety.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, CT licensure, and ARRT registration or registry eligibility with timely ARRT completion.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree preferred.
• Connecticut State Licensure required.
• Registered by the ARRT; registry-eligible candidates must pass ARRT within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Generate radiographic examinations using diagnostic equipment under supervision.
• Assess patient status and adapt imaging to age and clinical needs.
• Provide care respecting growth and development across the patient lifespan.

$7500 Sign On Bonus for External Candidates.

Position Purpose

The staff member is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.

What you will do

• The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient\'s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient\'s requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education : Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree preferred.
• Licensure : Connecticut State Licensure
