Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic exams and support the Diagnostic Imaging department. You will use PACS and EMR systems, maintain IV and contrast competency, and follow safety protocols for patient positioning and radiation protection.

In this role, you will communicate clearly with the care team, assist with equipment maintenance, and help ensure smooth department operations and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiology or a certificate in radiologic technology.
• ARRT certification or equivalent.
• IEMA certification and BLS certification are expected.
• Maintain IV and contrast competency and patient care focus.
• Follow protocols for patient positioning, exposure control and radiation protection.
• Ability to use PACS and EMR systems for imaging workflows.
• Provide quality patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems in daily workflow.
• Maintain IV and contrast competency.
• Follow protocols for patient positioning, exposure control, and radiation protection.
• Communicate clearly with the patient care team.
• Inspect and clean departmental equipment.
• Stock imaging rooms and prepare them for next exams.
• Support smooth operations of the Diagnostic Imaging department with patient care and service.
