Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, administer contrast agents as needed, and ensure ALARA standards are followed while operating radiography equipment.

Responsibilities include selecting proper exposure techniques, reviewing images for quality, and maintaining patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Qualifications

• Certified radiology professional with ARRT-R radiography credential.
• Current Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Proven ability to perform a variety of radiographic procedures with ALARA standards.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposesin accordance withALARA standards. Administers intravenous diagnostic contrast agents, regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and organizes films.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
