Providence’s St. Josephs Hospital-Chewelah in Chewelah, WA is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiology/CT exams, support a 24-hour on-call rotation, and contribute to the Diagnostic Imaging department’s growth.

The technologist will operate radiographic equipment, assist the radiologist, and ensure quality control and reporting duties. Qualifications include a two-year radiologic technology program, WA RT certification, ARRT certification, BLS, and at least one year of experience.

Schedule & Compensation

0.01 FTE, Per Diem, Variable Shift. Eligibility for a $6,000 Sign‑on Bonus, subject to all conditions for payment, in addition to the comprehensive benefits and compensation package of Providence.

Responsibilities

Provides quality care to patients and performs Radiology/CT examinations proficiently to provide the Inland Imaging Radiologist with accurate information for interpretation. Supports a 24‑hour on‑call rotation, ensuring evening and weekend coverage. Contributes to the growth and development of the Diagnostic Imaging department by offering ideas and highlighting areas for improvement. The Registered Radiologic Technologist is responsible for radiological procedures, assisting the radiologist, and operating radiographic equipment as outlined in the position description. Typical tasks include setting up and conducting radiological procedures, performing quality control, and completing reporting duties.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two‑year community college or vocational training program accredited in radiologic technologist training.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• At least one year of relevant experience.

Pay Range

$32.92 – $51.11 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
