Job Summary

Provides healthcare services applying x-ray energy for diagnosis or treatment, performing radiographic procedures, and producing images for interpretation. Maintains professionalism, provides patient care, and recognizes patient conditions for successful procedures, considering age-specific needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all diagnostic and screening imaging procedures, including ER, surgical, fluoroscopic, and portable.
  • Assist physicians and radiologists with sterile procedures.
  • Prepare and administer radiopaque contrast media.
  • Assess patient condition before and during procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited radiology program or equivalent.
  • Associate Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with the Texas Medical Board.
  • Registered with ARRT in Radiography.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
