Note: This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide medical services as a Radiology Technician to maintain the health of employees and client personnel.
  2. Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound. Document patient care services in records.
  3. Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning, immobilizing, and adjusting equipment.
  4. Gain patient cooperation by explaining procedures and alleviating anxieties.
  5. Minimize radiation exposure through protective techniques and equipment.
  6. Adhere to infection control policies, manage drug reactions, and administer first aid when necessary.
  7. Maintain image quality by following standards, developing images, and adjusting as needed.
  8. Ensure equipment operation through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
  9. Manage supplies inventory and order supplies as needed.
  10. Maintain a safe, clean working environment following regulations.
  11. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Completed an approved Radiology Technician program leading to a diploma, certificate, or associate degree.
  2. Possess an unrestricted state license or ARRT certification.
  3. At least 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technician.
  4. Current BLS or CPR certification.
  5. Experience in performing CT procedures, including contrast exams.
  6. Ability to multitask, organize, and communicate effectively.
  7. Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
  8. Flexibility to adapt to shift changes and operational needs.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills.
  10. Recent clinical experience in direct patient care, with a minimum of 6 months in the last 12 months.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Prolonged sitting and standing.
  • Bending, stooping, and lifting as needed for patient care.
