***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide ultrasound technologist services to preserve the health of employees and clients.
  2. Assist and guide radiographers in performing x-ray procedures.
  3. Perform routine procedures on patients requiring specialized expertise.
  4. Prepare ultrasound area, equipment, contrast materials, and supplies for patients.
  5. Assist radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals in diagnostic or treatment procedures.
  6. Perform diagnostic testing on equipment and conduct general maintenance.
  7. Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and adjusting equipment.
  8. Develop films following photographic techniques.
  9. Monitor patient and equipment condition during procedures and report changes.
  10. Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound.
  11. Document patient care services in records.
  12. Ensure patient cooperation and reduce anxieties by providing explanations and answering questions.
  13. Minimize radiation exposure by practicing protection techniques and using shielding devices.
  14. Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols, including drug protocols and emergency procedures.
  15. Maintain quality and production standards in radiography and other media.
  16. Ensure operation of radiology equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  17. Maintain ultrasound supplies and inventory, including ordering and verifying receipt.
  18. Maintain a safe and clean work environment following regulations.
  19. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Completed an approved Radiology Technologist program leading to a diploma, certificate, or associate's degree.
  • Two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including one year in ultrasound.
  • Valid license and current registration as a Radiological Technologist.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and office equipment.
  • Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to work in remote or challenging environments.
  • Ability to perform duties in stressful, high-paced settings without physical limitations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to sudden changes and shift requirements.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Work is typically performed in an interior/office environment.
  • Prolonged sitting and standing are involved.
