Job summary

Southern TN Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg is seeking a Radiology Technician to support diagnostic imaging services. You will review orders, educate patients, and perform imaging with attention to safety and quality control.

The role requires an Associate's degree in radiology or related program, ARRT/General Radiology certification, and ability to work under pressure. BLS is preferred or can be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in radiology or related discipline.
Graduate of a program in discipline preferred.
Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
BLS certification may be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Professional certification/license in General Radiology.

Responsibilities

Review patient history and physician orders; educate patient about procedures and exams.
Prepare and administer contrast media within scope; monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
Prepare equipment; select exposure factors and imaging parameters; perform QC and report malfunctions.
Implement safety standards and quality control procedures; troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Position patient and perform imaging; analyze results and report scans.
