Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital in Temecula, CA, seeks a Radiology Technician to operate diagnostic imaging equipment, including CT or MR, and to support radiologists during procedures. The role requires preparing rooms and supplies, positioning patients, reviewing orders, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while delivering high-quality images.

Qualified candidates will hold a California CRT license, ARRT, and BLS; one year of acute care radiology experience preferred; a radiology technology

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a registered Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility preferred.
• Diploma from a certified school of radiology technology.
• Current California Radiology Technologist (CRT) with fluoroscopy licensure required.
• Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the room, tray and supplies for radiology procedures and assist the Radiologist.
• Operate CT or MR equipment and adjust technical factors to produce high-quality images.
• Stock rooms, maintain a clean work area and transport patients as needed.

Technician Radiology/Imaging

The Radiology Tech is responsible for operating all diagnostic radiology equipment (i.e. Fluoroscopy room, portable, and DR room), and able to performs all diagnostic radiology procedures associated with each type of equipment.

Essential Job Duties

The Radiology Tech assists the Radiologist during procedures by preparing the room, tray and supplies and by anticipating the needs of the physician, nursing staff and patients. Operate either CT or MR equipment, analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors, position the body correctly, review physicians written orders or obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality images. Performs other related duties as requested by the Imaging Manager/ Lead or Director including but not limited to: stocking rooms, maintaining a clean work area, transporting patients, etc

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Training:

• Minimum one year experience as a registered Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility preferred


• Diploma from a certified school of radiology technology

Required:

• Current California Radiology Technologist (CRT) with fluoroscopy licensure required
