Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital (TVH) is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join the IR team in California. The role requires CRT licensure in California, ARRT, fluoro credentials, and BLS/ACLS.

The technologist will perform IR procedures, ensure imaging quality, and collaborate with physicians to deliver safe patient care. Experience in Interventional Radiology and arterial/venous studies is highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Cardiovascular anatomy and physiology knowledge.
  • Attention to detail, high level of accuracy.
  • Use of radiologic equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge in the use of an auto injector.
  • Competent at table side scrub with physicians on Cath/IR procedures.
  • Understands the use of an IVUS machine.
  • Strong English grammar and punctuation.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology procedures (PICC, arterial studies, catheter insertions).
  • Prioritize tasks and manage assignments within designated hours.
  • Initiative to identify and report concerns.
  • Minimum two years as a Radiology Technologist in acute care.
  • Interventional Neurology/EP experience preferred.

  • Assist in Interventional Radiology procedures and cath lab support.
  • Provide patient care and maintain imaging quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure timely procedures.

Qualifications
Education/Training/Experience
  • Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology knowledge.
  • Attention to detail, high level of accuracy.
  • Use of radiologic equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge in the use of an auto injector.
  • Competent at table side scrub in with physicians on various Cath and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
  • Understands the use of an IVUS machine.
  • Solid understanding of English, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment on a regular basis.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to foster teamwork among fellow staff members.
  • Must have experience in performing a variety of Interventional Radiology procedures, e.g., PICC Line insertions, aortic run-offs, dialysis catheter insertions, percutaneous nephrostomy tube insertions/exchanges, Quintin Catheter procedures, or tunneled Catheter insertions, etc.
  • Demonstrates evidence of ability to prioritize based on and increased acutiy of patients and their needs.
  • Able to organize, plan and set priorities and complete assignments with minimal assistance and within designated work hours.
  • Takes initiative to recognize and report appropriate areas of concern.
  • Minimum two years' experience as a registered Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility.
  • Interventional Neurology and/or EP experience strongly preferred.
  • Graduate from a certified school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license along with fluoro license and active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association required
