Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital (TVH), part of Southwest Healthcare, seeks a Radiology Technician to operate diagnostic radiology equipment (CT, MR) and assist the Radiologist during procedures. The role supports imaging services across the department in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, room preparation, delivering high-quality images, stocking rooms, and transporting patients while maintaining a clean and safe imaging suite.

Qualifications

• Must hold California CRT with fluoroscopy licensure.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• One year experience in acute care radiology preferred.

• Operate CT or MR equipment and adjust factors to produce high-quality images.

Technician Radiology/Imaging

The Radiology Tech is responsible for operating all diagnostic radiology equipment (i.e. Fluoroscopy room, portable, and DR room), and able to performs all diagnostic radiology procedures associated with each type of equipment.

Essential Job Duties

The Radiology Tech assists the Radiologist during procedures by preparing the room, tray and supplies and by anticipating the needs of the physician, nursing staff and patients. Operate either CT or MR equipment, analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors, position the body correctly, review physicians written orders or obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality images. Performs other related duties as requested by the Imaging Manager/ Lead or Director including but not limited to: stocking rooms, maintaining a clean work area, transporting patients, etc

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Training:

• Minimum one year experience as a registered Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility preferred
• Diploma from a certified school of radiology technology

Required:

• Current California Radiology Technologist (CRT) with fluoroscopy licensure required
• Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
