Job summary

Desert Valley Medical Group, affiliated with Desert Valley Hospital, is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist for full-time day shifts in California. Requires state licensure and fluoroscopy permit, plus ARRT-type certifications and BCLS.

Responsibilities include performing CT, Mammography, ultrasound, and other procedures per protocol, with PACS image transmission and quality control. One year of acute radiography experience preferred; strong computer skills and compliance with

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills.
• Current licensure/certifications as required by state.
• Graduate of a JRCERT or ABHES accredited program.
• One year of acute clinical radiography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiography, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures per department protocols.
• Interfaces with customers and meets imaging needs; participates in PI/QC activities.
• Oversees radiology area and staff in absence of Manager/Director.
• Maintains department supplies and equipment; promotes teamwork and customer service.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/ QC activities. Assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program. Oversees radiology area and/or staff in Manager’s / Director’s absence. Maintains department supplies. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. . Does scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment for assigned sub department. Responsible for Processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES
• Proficient computer skills.
