Job summary

Desert Valley Hospital in Southern California is actively hiring a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures across modalities, maintain equipment, and ensure high-quality patient care. This role interfaces with customers and supports department PI/QC activities.

Qualified candidates have licensure with fluoroscopy, two modality certifications, BCLS, and knowledge of radiology regulations. This full-time position operates days with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/ QC activities and assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program.
• Oversees radiology area and staff in Manager’s/Director’s absence and maintains department supplies.
• Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service; handles scheduling for sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
