Job summary

Desert Valley Hospital in Southern California seeks a Radiology Technologist to join our award-winning team and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. You will perform radiographic procedures following strict protocols and ensure accurate image transmission to PACS.

The role requires ARRT-R, CDPH CRT license, fluoroscopy permit within 6 months, venipuncture certification, and CPR/BCLS; prior radiology experience preferred. Nights shift with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

• 1. Must have Current CRT issued by CDPH2.
• 2. Must obtain fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months of hire.
• 3. Must obtain venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire.
• 4. ARRT-R is required.
• 5. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• 6. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• 7. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• 8. Proficient computer skills

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $31.00 to $42.97. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
