Job summary

Chino Valley Medical Center in Southern California is seeking a skilled radiology professional to join our award-winning team. The role supports Diagnostic Radiography, CT, Mammography, Bone Density and related imaging services, delivering high-quality results for patient care.

As a key imaging specialist, you will maintain equipment, ensure quality, and coordinate with a busy clinical staff. A fluoroscopy permit, state licensure and two-modality certifications are required, along with BCLS and

Qualifications

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
  • Appropriate national certifications in two modalities.
  • Current BCLS (AHA).
  • Familiar with state and federal regulations.
  • One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
  • Proficient with computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Interfaces with customers to fulfill imaging needs.
  • Participates in PI/QC activities and supports Performance Improvement.
  • Oversees radiology area and/or staff in Manager's/Director's absence. Maintains department supplies.
  • Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Does scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment.
  • Responsible for Processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/ QC activities. Responsible for Processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
  • Current BCLS (AHA).
  • Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  • One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred
  • Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $33.54 to $45.27. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
