Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospital in Silicon Valley is seeking a Radiology Technician II to operate radiology equipment and support the department’s patient workflow. You will work under the direction of the Department Director and Clinical Coordinator to perform radiographs of designated body areas and assist with contrast media procedures.

Requirements include California certification as a Radiologic Technologist, fluoroscopy credential, and Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist
• Current California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic or portable radiology equipment to obtain radiographs of designated body areas.
• May perform or assist physicians in more complex examinations by mixing, preparing and administration of contrast media and assisting in sterile procedures.
• Serve as a resource to other radiologic technologists and support staff in resolving work-related problems and coordinating patient flow.
