Job summary

STGi is seeking a Radiology Technician to provide services at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The technician will perform conventional radiography, portable radiography, CR/DR, and operating room radiography, supporting radiologists and clinicians throughout the exam process.

The role emphasizes accurate image capture, proper labeling, patient safety, and efficient workflow within a high-tech radiology environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs head, trunk and extremities radiographs for routine exams.
• Uses manual and photo timed exposures with Bucky systems.
• Prepares and processes images, applies post-processing as needed.
• Reviews requests and clarifies indications with radiologist.
• Positions patient safely and ensures comfort during exams.
• Maintains room, inventory and infection control standards.
• Registers patients and answers calls, directing to the appropriate clinician.
• Ensures proper labeling and case tracking in the system.
