Job summary

STGi is seeking a Radiology Technologist to provide services at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Watertown, NY. The role involves performing radiographic exams, operating DR equipment, and ensuring efficient patient flow in an outpatient setting.

Required qualifications include ARRT RT(R) certification, CPR/BLS, and graduation from an accredited radiology program. Prior diagnostic radiology experience and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or MTN.
• English language skills required (read/write/speak).
• ARRT-RT(R) certification as Registered Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
• Prefer 12+ months full-time diagnostic radiology experience in last 2 years.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations of head, trunk and extremities.
• Use proper exposure techniques and equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs with minimal retakes.
• Operate digital radiography systems and monitor image quality during procedures.
• Review requests for appropriateness and verify clinical history with the order.
• Position patients safely, maintain patient comfort, and ensure patient safety.
