Job summary

El Mirador Surgery Center is a fast paced, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center environment. The Radiology Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including C-Arm operations on orthopedic, podiatry, hand, spine, and pain management surgery and procedures. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and other procedures.

This position is part-time and offers benefits. Part-time requires working 20 - 29 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1+ years of experience in C-Arm and portable x-rays in operating room setting.
• ARRT Registered, State MRT.
• CPR certified by AHA.
• Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including C-Arm operations.
• Assist with sterile field during operating room and other procedures.

El Mirador Surgery Center is a fast paced, multi-specialty, Ambulatory Surgery Center(ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including C-Arm operations on orthopedic, podiatry, hand, spine, and pain management surgery and procedures. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and other procedures.

Monday-Friday daytime work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Starting pay Range:

$38.00 - $57.00/hour. depending on experience

Required Skills:

Education, Training and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
• 1+ years of experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in operating room setting.
• ARRT Registered, State MRT
• CPR accredited by AHA Current.
• Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
• Must possess independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
