Job summary

Northwest ASC is looking for a Radiology Technician to perform a variety of radiologic procedures under physician supervision. Responsibilities include C-Arm operation, OR radiology, and assisting in sterile field settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology or X-Ray Technology program.
• 1+ year experience with C-Arm and portable x-rays in OR setting.
• ARRT registered; state MRT and CPR current.
• Knowledge of local, state, federal and Joint Commission regulations.
• Independent decision making ability.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and department supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform orthopedic, OR radiology and general radiology procedures.
• Operate C-Arm and portable x-ray equipment in OR.
• Assist with sterile field during procedures.
• Log and file OR X-Rays; report findings to physician.

Northwest ASC has an immediate need for a Radiology Technician!

Full-time, Part-time, or PRN status

Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is a multi-specialty, ambulatory surgical center located in the northwest section of Portland, OR. We believe health and care are inseparable. What You Will Do (Job Summary):

The Radiology Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including C-Arm operations on orthopedic, podiatry, hand, spine, and pain management surgery and procedures. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and other procedures.

Key Duties Include:

• Orthopedic Radiology, Operating Room Radiology
• Radiology
• Perform Pain Blocks
• File and log in OR X-Rays
• Report system of radiology findings to physician.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills
