Job summary

Tenet Healthcare’s DMC Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Dearborn is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations for our sports medicine and orthopaedic teams. You will work in a clinic setting with DR equipment, producing high-quality images and assisting physicians.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited imaging program, ARRT eligibility with certification within a year, and BLS; state license if required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Imaging Program is required.
• Associates degree is preferred.
• ARRT certification or registry eligible; ARRT certification within one year post graduation; BLS and state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Assesses patients and assists Physicians in performing x-ray procedures using DR equipment.
• Maintains patient and departmental records, supplies, and equipment.
• Performs other related tasks.

Monday - Friday from 8-4:30 (no nights, weekends, or holidays).

Full time roles in Sterling Heights also available. Part time option also available in the Detroit area.

Under the direction of the Physician performs Radiographic examinations for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic surgeons consistent with their perimeters. Clinic work environment.

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs,
• Assesses patients, assist the Physician in performing x-ray procedures, using state of the art DR equipment and processor.
• Maintains patient and departmental records, supplies and equipment.
• Performs other related tasks

Education

• Required: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
• Preferred: Associates degree

Experience

• Preferred: 1-3 years

Certifications

• Required: ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post graduation; BLS, state license if required
