Job summary

DMC Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Farmington Hills is seeking a full-time radiologic technologist to perform high-quality radiographic exams for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic surgeons in a clinic setting. Shift is Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

with no nights, weekends, or holidays. ARRT certification (registry eligible acceptable; must obtain within one year), BLS, and state license if required. Preferred 1–3 years of radiography experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
• 1–3 years of radiography experience preferred.
• ARRT certification (registry eligible acceptable; must obtain within 1 year). BLS and state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Assesses patients, assists physician in x-ray procedures using DR equipment.
• Maintains patient and departmental records, supplies and equipment.
• Performs other related tasks

Full-time roles in Sterling Heights and Farmington Hills available. Part-time option also available in the Detroit area.

Under the direction of the Physician performs Radiographic examinations for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic surgeons consistent with their perimeters. Clinic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs,
• Assesses patients, assist the Physician in performing x-ray procedures, using state of the art DR equipment and processor.
• Maintains patient and departmental records, supplies and equipment.
• Performs other related tasks

Qualifications

Education

Required: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program

Experience

Preferred: 1-3 years,

Certifications

Required: ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post graduation; BLS, state license if required
