Job summary

Detroit Medical Center (DMC) Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Dearborn is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs and support physicians in sports medicine and orthopedic procedures.

You will typically work Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30, with some travel around the metro-Detroit area. This role requires ARRT certification (or registry eligible) and BLS; an Associates degree is preferred and 1–3 years of experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
  • Associates degree preferred
  • 1–3 years experience preferred
  • ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post graduation; BLS, state license if required

Responsibilities

  • Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs
  • Assesses patients and assists the Physician in performing x-ray procedures using DR equipment
  • Maintains patient and departmental records, supplies and equipment

Job Summary

This is a PRN position with DMC Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Dearborn.

Hours will be within Monday-Friday from 8-4:30. Some travel required around metro-Detroit.

Under the direction of the Physician performs Radiographic examinations for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic surgeons consistent with their perimeters. Clinic work environment.
