UC San Diego Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Radiology department at Hillcrest. You will perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment.

Under general supervision, you will prepare and position patients, follow radiologist protocols, review images for quality, and ensure adherence to radiation safety standards. Depending on experience, license, and certifications, the role may be hired as Rad Tech or Sr Rad Tech.

Formación

• Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
• CRT-R license in California.
• CRT-F license required within six months of hire to be considered for Sr Rad tech.
• ARRT(R) Radiography (R.T(R)(ARRT)) certification.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with plan to obtain BART within six months.
• Less than 18 months of recent experience or more than 18 months for Sr Rad tech.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment.
• Prepare and position patients following established protocols to achieve high-quality images.
• Enter complex data into the computer system and verify radiographs for technical quality and image quality.
• Follow radiation safety principles and regulatory guidelines; communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Depending on experience, license and certifications, certificate level may be Rad Tech or Sr Rad Tech.
