UC San Diego Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams across General Diagnostic Radiology. The role requires advanced knowledge of radiologic technology and adherence to radiation safety principles.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, image quality assessment, and data entry per radiologist directives. Depending on experience, license and certifications, the position may be filled as Rad Tech or Sr Rad Tech.

Qualificações

• Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
• California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R).
• California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) within six months of hire (required to be considered for Sr. Rad Tech).
• Registered Technologist for Radiography (ARRT).
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six months.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment.
• Prepare and position patient to achieve highest quality image per Radiologist protocols.
• Enter data into the computer system and verify image quality.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist other technologists and demonstrate radiation safety principles.

Formação académica

California CRT-R license

CRT-F license (within 6 months)

ARRT Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)(ARRT))

BART or BLS at time of hire (with plan to obtain BART within 6 months)
