Job summary

The position is a career appointment, nights with 12-hour shifts, 60-90% time, with opportunities to contribute to quality control and safety initiatives within the Radiology Department.

Qualifications

• BART or BLS certification at time of hire, with plan to obtain BART within 6 months.
• Experience in a hospital Radiology Department with RIS/HIS knowledge.
• Computer literacy including radiology workflows and safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures and coordinate imaging exams.
• Process radiographs and prepare images for interpretation.
• Transport patients and prepare for radiographic procedures.
• Download CDs into PACS and operate related equipment (CD burners, scanners).
• Contribute to quality control, safety, and staff training within the Imaging Department.
