Job summary

Nutex Health, Inc. is seeking a Radiology Tech multimodality to operate advanced imaging equipment and deliver high-quality diagnostic images. You will position patients, perform scans, and ensure safety and infection control standards across CT, X-ray, MRI, and US modalities.

The role requires ARRT or RDMS certification, an associate degree or equivalent, BLS, and hospital experience, with proficiency in discussing procedures with patients and maintaining equipment integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in CT, X-ray, MRI, or Ultrasound (US) as verified by ARRT or RDMS certification.
• At least one year of experience working in a hospital setting.
• An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, combined with one year of relevant experience and training.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Multimodality Technologists must possess certification in two (2) or more modalities: Radiology (X-ray), CT, Ultrasound (US), or MRI, or have completed an accredited cross-training program.

Responsibilities

• Accurately position patients to ensure effective scanning of specific body areas.
• Conduct regular warm-up sequences on radiological equipment to maintain functionality.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment thoroughly to ensure patient safety and adhere to hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Interpret and follow physicians' written scanning instructions accurately.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal structures during imaging.
• Review and evaluate scans to confirm they meet technical quality standards.
• Clearly explain scanning procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support as needed.
• Monitor patients during scanning procedures, identifying and responding to any allergic reactions to contrast agents.
• Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report any deficiencies.
