Nutex Health, Inc. is seeking a Radiology Technologist Multimodality to operate advanced scanning equipment and capture high-quality images. The role requires patient care, safety, and technical excellence in a fast-paced environment, with PRN shift coverage.

You will perform a range of modalities (CT, X-ray, MRI, US), follow physicians’ instructions, administer contrast, monitor for reactions, and maintain equipment and inventory. ARRT/RDMS and BLS certifications are required or in progress.

Formación

• Minimum one year of experience in CT, X-ray, MRI, or Ultrasound (US) as verified by ARRT or RDMS certification.
• At least one year of experience working in a hospital setting.
• Multimodality Technologists must possess certification in two (2) or more modalities or have cross-training.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with relevant training.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately position patients to ensure effective scanning of specific body areas.
• Conduct regular warm-up sequences on radiologic equipment to maintain functionality.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment thoroughly to ensure patient safety and infection control.
• Interpret and follow physicians' written scanning instructions accurately.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal structures.
• Review and evaluate scans to confirm they meet technical quality standards.
• Clearly explain scanning procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support as needed.
• Monitor patients during scanning procedures, addressing any allergic reactions to contrast.
• Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report deficiencies.

Your commitment to patient care, safety, and technical excellence will be essential in delivering optimal imaging services.**Job Shift:** PRN**Key Responsibilities:*** Accurately position patients to ensure effective scanning of specific body areas.* Conduct regular warm-up sequences on radiological equipment to maintain functionality.* Sterilize radiologic equipment thoroughly to ensure patient safety and adhere to hygiene and infection control protocols.* Interpret and follow physicians' written scanning instructions accurately.* Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal structures during imaging.* Review and evaluate scans to confirm they meet technical quality standards.* Clearly explain scanning procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support as needed.* Monitor patients during scanning procedures, identifying and responding to any allergic reactions to contrast agents.* Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report any deficiencies.**Required Qualifications:*** Minimum one year of experience in the following modalities: CT, X-ray, MRI, or Ultrasound (US) as verified by ARRT or RDMS certification.* At least one year of experience working in a hospital setting.* An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, combined with one year of relevant experience and training.* Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS).* Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.* Multimodality Technologists must possess certification in two (2) or more modalities: Radiology (X-ray), Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound (US), or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or have completed an accredited cross-training program.**Skills and Qualities:*** Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.* Compassion and patience in dealing with diverse patient populations.* Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry developments and best practices in radiological technology.* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.**Working Conditions:*** Potential exposure to body fluids and infectious diseases necessitates strict adherence to infection control protocols.Nutex Health is the premier innovative service provider in the emergency care industry.
