Job summary

Tyvan LLC is seeking a Radiology Technician (Multi-Modality) to operate advanced imaging equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images. The role emphasizes patient safety, technical excellence, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time with night shifts. Required certifications (ARRT or RDMS) and BLS are expected, along with multimodality competency across CT, X-ray, MRI, or ultrasound.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in CT, X-ray, MRI, or Ultrasound (US) as ARRT or RDMS-certified.
  • At least 1 year of hospital experience.
  • Associate degree or equivalent with one year of experience and training.
  • ARRT or RDMS certification.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Position patients to ensure effective scanning of specific body areas.
  • Run warm-up sequences on radiologic equipment to maintain functionality.
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Interpret and follow physicians' scanning instructions accurately.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image visibility.
  • Review scans to ensure technical quality standards.
  • Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance.
  • Monitor patients for allergic reactions to contrast agents.
  • Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report deficiencies.

Radiology Technician (Multi-Modality)-3

As a Radiology Tech Multi-modality, you will operate our advanced scanning equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Your commitment to patient care, safety, and technical excellence will be essential in delivering optimal imaging services.

Job Shift: FT Nights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately position patients to ensure effective scanning of specific body areas.
  • Conduct regular warm-up sequences on radiological equipment to maintain functionality.
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment thoroughly to ensure patient safety and adhere to hygiene and infection control protocols.
  • Interpret and follow physicians' written scanning instructions accurately.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal structures during imaging.
  • Review and evaluate scans to confirm they meet technical quality standards.
  • Clearly explain scanning procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support as needed.
  • Monitor patients during scanning procedures, identifying and responding to any allergic reactions to contrast agents.
  • Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report any deficiencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of experience in the following modalities: CT, X-ray, MRI, or Ultrasound (US) as verified by ARRT or RDMS certification.
  • At least one year of experience working in a hospital setting.
  • An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, combined with one year of relevant experience and training.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS).
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Multimodality Technologists must possess certification in two (2) or more modalities: Radiology (X-ray), Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound (US), or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or have completed an accredited cross-training program.
