Job summary

Ridgeview is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high quality diagnostic x-rays in accordance with established procedures. The role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with radiologists, and equipment upkeep.

Qualified candidates will be graduates of an accredited Radiology program and ARRT-registered, CPR certified, and able to work autonomously or in a team-oriented environment. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Maintains room and equipment cleaning between patients.

Job Functions

• Interacts with patients, providers and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
• Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
• Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
• Registered by the ARRT

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray scans
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

License/Certification

• CPR Certified

Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity. Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
