Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is offering an internship for students in their senior year of Radiologic Technology. The program provides hands-on observation, preceptor-guided training, and exposure to EPIC and PACS systems.

Direct supervision by a preceptor develops technical and professional skills, with opportunities to work evenings or weekends as needed and to join a supportive team committed to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in Senior Year of Radiologic Technology accredited school.
• Must have pre-approval from school to apply to internship.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation.
• Positions patient, equipment and devices to obtain high quality images for interpretation.
• Develops proficiency in contrast material and adverse reactions to contrast media.
• Learn the necessary Radiologic Technologist skills to work independently after graduation.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with Baptist Health policies.
