Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures while upholding safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes patient assessment, accurate documentation, and professional conduct in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Candidate must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, maintain BLS certification, and complete ARRT certification within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ARRT certification within twelve (12) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
• Adheres to Baptist Health mission statements and strategic imperatives.
• Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.
• Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
• Performs proper patient identification, acquires patient’s clinical history, and ensures accuracy of documentation.
