Job summary

Doctors Medical Center of Modesto is looking for a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to provide radiologic care across ages. You will operate X-ray equipment, prepare rooms, and ensure patient education and safety. Opportunities exist to gain competency in CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology if criteria are met.

Requires ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit; BLS must be current. Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $30,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Fluoroscopy permit required.
• BLS certification present or within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiologic care for patients of all ages for diagnostic/treatment purposes.
• Operate X-ray equipment and PACS; prep exam room and supplies.
• Educate patients about procedures and aftercare; ensure safety protocols.
• May participate in CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology if competencies are met.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services and/or designee, the Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for radiological care to patients of all ages, for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomical and physiologic disorders using ionizing radiation. Must have working knowledge of conventional Radiology. Must be able to operate all X-ray equipment and PACS. Prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications for patient's procedures and is responsible for patient education. Proven competency in addition to conventional radiography, working knowledge in at least one other area CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology if applicable competencies are met. May be required to take call.
