Job summary

Founded in 1899, Dignity Health's St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, CA is seeking a Radiology Technologist to provide imaging services and compassionate patient care.

You will operate radiographic equipment, position patients, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality images in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiology Program.
• Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Diagnostic Technologist.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with scrub tech experience in both areas.
• CA Radiology Technologist license.
• CA Fluoroscopy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Radiology Technologist, you will provide essential imaging services and compassionate patient care, producing high-quality diagnostic images crucial for accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. Every day you will expertly operate advanced radiographic equipment, position patients accurately, ensure patient safety and comfort, and meticulously produce images while maintaining strict adherence to protocols and delivering empathetic support.

• Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
• Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
• Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
• Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
• Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
• Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible for the Sign-On Bonus. However, we are offering a Referral Bonus for this role.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiology Program
• Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Diagnostic Technologist.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist. This experience should include being a scrub tech and radiology technologist in both areas
• CA Radiology Technologist license
• CA Fluoroscopy
• Basic Life Support

• ARRT, Bone Densitometry, Computed Tomography, Cardio Interventional Radiography, Mammography, MRI, Quality Management, Radiation Therapy, Vascular Interventional Radiology, Vascular Sonography
• Expanded IV Therapy Course
