Job summary

Doctors Medical Center of Modesto is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist for day shift, full-time employment. The technologist will perform radiographic procedures, operate X-ray equipment and PACS, and ensure patient education and safety across age groups.

Candidates should hold BLS, ARRT(R), CRT, and fluoroscopy permit where applicable; cross-training in CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology is a plus. A sign-on bonus up to $30,000 is available based on experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT(R) certification or eligible.
• Fluoroscopy permit required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all X-ray equipment and PACS for radiological care.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies and medications for procedures.
• Educate patients and ensure safety and comfort during imaging exams.
• Demonstrate competency across radiography with potential CT/MRI/IR exposure.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services and/or designee, the Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for radiological care to patients of all ages, for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomical and physiologic disorders using ionizing radiation. Must have working knowledge of conventional Radiology. Must be able to operate all X-ray equipment and PACS. Prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications for patient's procedures and is responsible for patient education. Proven competency in addition to conventional radiography, working knowledge in at least one other area CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology if applicable competencies are met. May be required to take call.

Compensation

$46.00 - $61.00 hourly Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience
