Job summary

Hchcares in Indiana is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under supervision. You will position patients, adjust exposure controls, and protect patients with shields while ensuring accurate documentation of services.

The role requires Indiana X-ray Operator certification, ARRT certification, BLS, and licensure maintenance, with a preference for 2+ years of technologist experience in a clinical setting. Full-time weekend option available.

Qualifications

• Complete understanding of Anatomy, Physiology, Physics, radiation protection, radiographic exposure and positioning.
• Certified as Diagnostic X-ray Machine Operator by the State of Indiana.
• Maintains licensure and accrues 12 CEU points annually and submits documentation to supervision.
• Graduates from ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist program; BLS certified.
• Prefer at least two years Radiologic Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic exams under general supervision.
• Position patients, adjust immobilization devices, apply lead shields, and control exposure length and intensity.
• Prepare reports and maintain records of services rendered per procedures.
• Relay major equipment problems to Imaging Director.
