Weekend rotation.Job DescriptionSummaryThe Radiology Technologist performs x-ray scans of patient's internal anatomy to aid physicians in diagnosing illnesses, diseases, or injuries. Executes radiologic services in compliance with relevant laws and regulations and provides consultation advice to patients and radiology professionals. Delivers patient care and education before, during and after diagnostic imaging procedures.Job DutiesInteracts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.(Do not delete, move or over-write this statement)Appropriately positions radiographic equipment or x-ray film to produce images with necessary detail or contrast in order to assist with diagnosis and treatment.Explains radiographic procedure to the patient, obtains complete and accurate history relevant to the examination to being performed.
