Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment, producing routine radiographs for a diverse patient population. This role requires ARRT registration and CPR certification, with the ability to work autonomously in hospital settings and coordinate with physicians and staff.

The ideal candidate has graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and demonstrates strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
• Certified in CPR.

Responsabilités

• Operate X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies as required.
• Work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision and collaborate with the care team.

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty five (35) years of age.

REQUIRED:

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
• Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

PREFERRED:

• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
