Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment and produce routine radiographs across age groups in a dynamic hospital setting.

You will perform IV, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies with some autonomy, supporting high-quality patient care while handling sensitive clinical environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered in radiologic technology.
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with patients, visitors and physicians.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs for neonate to geriatric patients.
• Performs intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies with autonomy and indirect supervision.
• Works in hospital areas requiring autonomy and confidentiality when caring for patients.
• Works with a female patient population over 35 years of age.

Responsibilities

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty five (35) years of age.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED:1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• REQUIRED:2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• REQUIRED:3. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
• REQUIRED:4. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• PREFERRED:1. Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
