Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to join our fast-paced radiology team. You will operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs for a diverse patient population, from neonates to geriatric patients, with autonomy and appropriate supervision.

The role requires ARRT registration, graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, CPR certification, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate tactfully with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs for neonate to geriatric patients.
• Perform radiographic studies including intravenous, subdural, and arterial procedures.
• Work with autonomy and under indirect supervision in hospital settings.

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty five (35) years of age.

REQUIRED:

• 1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• 2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• 3. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
• 4. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

PREFERRED:

• 1. Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
