Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic studies across neonate to geriatric patients. This role requires ARRT registration and CPR certification, with the ability to work autonomously in hospital settings.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program and may have prior diagnostic radiology experience. Weekend shifts (Sat/Sun/Mon) are part of the schedule with on-site duties at our facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, visitors, physicians and staff.
• CPR certification required.
• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs for all age groups.
• Performs intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies with autonomy.
• Works in hospital areas requiring independent judgment and indirect supervision.

Responsibilities

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty five (35) years of age.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. 2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). 3. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel. 4. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). PREFERRED:1. Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
