Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist for our 40-hour workweek at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. The role requires ARRT certification/eligibility and BCLS CPR certification, with registration within 12 months of hire. Experience with radiologic procedures and patient care is preferred.

You will maintain patient records, perform imaging procedures, and support emergency on-call coverage as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• One year experience with patients preferred.
• ARRT registration or eligibility required within 12 months of hire.
• BCLS (CPR) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes cooperative work environment through communication and teamwork.
• Performs diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures in accordance with state regulations for radiation protection.
• Maintains accurate patient records via correct data entry and image archiving.
• Provides instruction and consultation to health care personnel and patients to promote quality care.
• Provides emergency on-call coverage after normal working hours as required.
