Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Plymouth facility is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for day shift (9:00am-5:30pm) with rotating weekends. You will prepare patients, perform radiographic exams, process films, and support quality control under LEAN guidelines to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Candidates should graduate from an AMA-approved radiology program, hold MA radiologic technologist licensure with ARRT certification or eligibility (must attain within one year), and have about two

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Graduate of an AMA approved program in radiology for registration eligibility.
• Current or eligible for Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT certification; must attain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Preparation for Exam: review requests and determine resources per department protocols.
• Performance of Exam: perform procedure and dispatch patient appropriately.
• Develop/Process Films: handle film preparation, processing and handling per guidelines.
• Quality Control: ensure accuracy of procedure and documentation with the team.
• Post-exam Requirements: ensure data is available for radiologist reports and readings.
• Record keeping/paperwork: complete all paperwork for Exam/Requisition/Film cycle.
• Equipment maintenance: maintain x‑ray equipment per manual and instructions.
• Stock management: maintain adequate supplies.
• Professional conduct: perform duties in an ethical and professional manner.
