Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Training experience as a Student Radiology Technologist will be evaluated as part of the two year experience.
• Graduate of an AMA approved program in radiology for registration eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for exam per department protocols and ensure needed resources.
• Perform exam and dispatch patient to the next modality/location.
• Develop/process films according to department protocols.
• Quality control to ensure completed procedures with appropriate personnel.
• Post-exam: ensure information is available for report rendering; wet readings when necessary.
• Maintain records for Exam/Requisition/Film Cycle.
• Maintain x-ray equipment per guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
• Keep stock of pertinent supplies.
• Perform duties ethically and professionally.
