Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Wooster Family Health Center in Wooster, Ohio, is seeking a Registered Radiology Technologist to join the Regional Radiology-Diagnostics Institute. You will perform radiology exams, ensure patient comfort, and produce high-quality images for interpretation.

The role includes day/evening rotation, 7:30am-4:00pm or 11:30am-8:00pm, with shift flexibility and PACS workflow. Candidates must be ARRT registered, state licensed, BLS certified, and have knowledge of anatomy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients and process billing.
