Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Technologists Assistant to support technologists and keep MRI suite operations smooth and on schedule. This per diem role emphasizes patient prep, room setup, and efficient workflow to ensure timely imaging.

Responsibilities include monitoring schedules, assisting with patient prep, organizing films, and maintaining clean imaging areas, with opportunities to grow as part of a dedicated radiology team.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the technologists in preparing the room and setting up equipment between patients.
• Greet and escort patients to changing room; briefly explain procedure.
• Prepare patient jackets and compile films in the correct jacket by date and number.
• Assist with room setup and changing table sheet, coil placement, and clean-up.
• Prepare the next patient for scanning to optimize scheduling.
• Restore and network previous exams for next-day patients.
