Job summary

St. Luke’s Medical Center, a 938-bed hospital in the Milwaukee area, seeks a Radiologic Technologist for the Diagnostic Radiology Department. Fast‑paced environment performing general radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures including OR, Urology, GI/Pulmonary, and X‑ray imaging.

No experience required; Wisconsin Radiographer license and ARRT registration; BLS within 6 months. Benefits eligible, 40‑hour weeks, second shift, weekend/holiday/call rotations, sign‑on bonus up to $6,000.

Qualifications

• Certified radiologic technologist licensure as required by state
• ARRT registration required with Wisconsin state licensure
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to intermediate radiographic procedures including general and fluoroscopic exams.
• Explains procedures and obtains clinical history from patients.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors with radiation protection in accordance with policy.
• Identifies and labels images, ensures exam accuracy, and processes radiographs.
• Assists and consults with radiologists.
• Maintains records in the radiology information system and documents billing codes.
• Handles patient transport and transfer duties and adheres to safety protocols.
