Health First in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality. You will follow protocols, maintain sterile technique, and document procedures accurately, while providing compassionate patient care in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires Florida licensure, ARRT registration, BLS, and strong communication skills to support a positive patient experience and efficient workflow.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• </br>
• Florida license as a General Radiographer is required.
• ARRT registration or eligibility is required; active certification preferred.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification prior to start date.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff and adhere to infection control policies.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers for every procedure.
• Follow exam protocols and produce images meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Position patients correctly and ensure rooms/equipment are ready for the next patient.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain appropriate records (MAR, orders, history).
• Communicate with patients and team to support a positive patient experience.
• Complete required documentation and ensure proper charge capture in the system.
• Assist with department initiatives and participate in staff meetings as required.
