Job summary

Health First is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to execute high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will mentor peers, follow all hospital protocols, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• Possess a current Florida State License as a General Radiographer.
• Possess a current ARRT registration or be registry eligible.
• Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date.
• Strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to report to department within 30 minutes when on call.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Verify two forms of patient identification on every patient and every time.
• Follow ALARA and infection control procedures and document actions.
• Position patients to achieve quality exams and ensure image accuracy.
• Properly clean, stock and disinfect rooms and equipment between patients.
• Document and charge for procedures and supplies accurately in the system.
