Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures, maintain EMR/PACS documentation, and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role requires ARRT certification and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with BLS and strong patient communication skills.

Work onsite in a full-time capacity with opportunities to cross-train and ensure ALARA principles in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R)(ARRT) required
• 1+ year experience in radiology preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Knowledge of imaging procedures and positioning
• Ability to use radiology software packages such as EPIC, PACS

Responsibilities

• Move, position, and manipulate radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely
• Perform radiographic imaging procedures meeting department standards
• Maintain timely documentation in EMR and PACS
• Ensure rooms are clean, stocked, and equipment safety checks are up to date
• Provide patient comfort and safety during procedures
